JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
You will be part of the sportswear design division. More specifically, the position entails the following tasks:
- Partake in the design team with regards to defining the seasonal direction
- Research trends (via shopping trips and attending at international trade fairs)
- Design a sportswear line for a young, active and trendy woman
- Select fabrics, colour charts etc.
- Partner closely with the design team, production departments and suppliers to ensure that all products and designs are aligned with the style and goals of the brand
- Present the collection to the sales team and achieve the expected results
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- 3+ years experience in sportswear, swimwear or corsetry design
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in fashion design
- Fluency in English (Spanish and other languages are a bonus)
- Creative and intuitive mindset
- Enthusiastic, visionary, dynamic, excellent communication and people skills
